Study in the Netherlands
The Netherlands offers a wide range of English-taught programmes and an international student community. Study in NL, an initiative from Nuffic, is the official starting point for comparing study options and understanding application preparation.
Choosing and applying
Find a suitable course, then read the institution's own instructions. Many programmes use Studielink, but some institutions use a different application method for international students. Check whether additional documents must also be submitted directly to the university.
Selection and deadlines
Some programmes have a limited number of places and a separate selection process. Record the deadline for your exact course, together with any earlier scholarship or document deadlines. Do not apply a general national date to every programme.
Budget and accommodation
Confirm your tuition category, living costs and scholarship conditions before accepting an offer. Study in NL warns that finding a room can be challenging, so investigate verified accommodation early and follow the institution's housing advice.
Your next steps
Compare course content, entry requirements and the city where you would live. Prepare academic records, language evidence and motivation documents, then track application and housing tasks together.
